These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Carakeet mobile application, vehicle sound analysis, diagnostic chat, advertising, and related services. By using Carakeet, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Carakeet. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2. What Carakeet provides
Carakeet lets you create local vehicle profiles, record engine sounds, receive automated AI-generated observations, keep a diagnostic history, and ask follow-up questions. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued as the service develops.
3. Important diagnostic and safety disclaimer
Carakeet does not provide a professional mechanical diagnosis, repair instruction, safety certification, warranty assessment, or emergency service. AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your vehicle. Similar symptoms can have different causes, and some serious faults may not produce a recognizable sound.
Do not rely on Carakeet to decide whether a vehicle is safe to drive. Stop using the vehicle and consult a qualified mechanic or emergency service when warning lights, smoke, overheating, fuel smell, braking or steering problems, unusual vibration, loss of power, or any immediate safety concern exists. Record only when it is safe and legal; never handle the phone while driving or approach moving or hot engine parts.
4. Your information and submissions
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of vehicle details, recordings, messages, and other material you submit. Do not submit information you do not have permission to use, or unnecessary personal or confidential information.
You retain your rights in your submissions. You grant Carakeet and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive license to transmit, host, reproduce, and process them only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the requested service and to meet legal obligations.
5. Artificial intelligence
Carakeet uses third-party AI providers to process recordings and diagnostic conversations. Outputs are generated automatically and are not reviewed by a mechanic. We do not guarantee accuracy, uniqueness, availability, or a particular outcome. You remain responsible for decisions, repairs, maintenance, and use of your vehicle.
6. Advertising and rewarded features
Carakeet is ad-supported and may display banner, interstitial, app-open, or rewarded advertisements. Certain actions may ask you to watch a rewarded ad. The application explains this before the ad starts. Ad availability, content, and successful reward completion depend on third-party systems and are not guaranteed.
Advertising privacy choices are managed through Google User Messaging Platform and applicable operating-system settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use Carakeet for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or deceptive activity.
- Upload material that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights.
- Attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with security, reverse engineer protected components, or gain unauthorized access.
- Use bots, scripts, or excessive requests that disrupt or impose unreasonable load on the service.
- Misrepresent AI output as a certified professional inspection or safety approval.
8. Third-party services
Carakeet relies on services such as Cloudflare, Google AdMob, Google Gemini or an enabled OpenAI-compatible AI provider, and Apple. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply. We are not responsible for third-party content, outages, or independent processing beyond our reasonable control.
9. Intellectual property
Carakeet's software, interface, branding, graphics, and related materials are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may use the application only for its intended personal purpose unless we give written permission otherwise.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information is processed, which providers receive it, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you. It forms part of these Terms.
11. Availability and changes
The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may maintain, update, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every vehicle or device, or preservation of locally stored information. You should keep any records you need independently.
12. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carakeet is provided without express or implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of or inability to use the service, reliance on AI output, loss of local data, vehicle damage, or third-party services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections or liability for intentional misconduct.
13. Restriction or termination
We may restrict or stop access to online features when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, providers, or legal rights, or when these Terms are violated. You may stop using Carakeet at any time and remove locally stored information from the application or by uninstalling it.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or protections available in your country of residence. Courts and authorities with mandatory jurisdiction remain available to you.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. The revised Terms become effective when published here, with the updated date shown above. If you do not accept a material change, you should stop using the service.
